On 25 May 2018, Regulation (2016/679) of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (the General Data Protection Regulation; “GDPR”) came into force.
Accordingly, I am providing you with the necessary information on how your data will be processed after 25 May 2018.
1. The Controller

2. Data storage
The following personal data is stored: first and last name, company name, VAT ID, business address, telephone number, e-mail, website.
3. Processing purposes and the legal basis for the data processing
The processing of the personal data entered by you is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) c GDPR, in fulfilment of the legally prescribed obligations of the Controller to issue and store invoices for translation services rendered and its tax obligations, as well as for the purpose of individual communication with you, to process the enquiry sent by you by e-mail, on the basis of a legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR).
If you contact me to request a quote, the data you enter will be processed to carry out pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR).
4. Recipients of personal data
I will only provide your personal data if this is necessary for the proper provision of your services. Your personal data will only be disclosed to an online accounting service, an external accounting office and the tax office or, if applicable, to processors involved in the execution of your order.
5. Storage period
Your data will be stored for a period of 5 years from the end of the financial year in which you are invoiced for the translation services provided. If there is a contractual relationship, I am subject to the statutory retention periods in accordance with the relevant legal provisions and will delete your data after these periods have expired.
6. Voluntary provision of data, granting and revocation of consent to data processing
The provision of your personal data is voluntary. However, it is necessary in order to be able to invoice the translation services provided. If you have given me your consent, you can revoke it at any time with effect for the future.
7. The rights of the data subject
7.1 You have the right to information, the right to rectification and deletion of data, the right to object to the processing of your personal data (where legally possible) and restriction of processing, and the right to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection).
7.2 The data may be provided to entities entitled to receive it under applicable law, including the competent judicial authorities.
8. Modification of the privacy policy
I reserve the right to amend this privacy policy to ensure that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to my services in the privacy policy.
